Ive been asked plenty a stupid question or received pointless comments about myths regarding training with weights, High fat low carb diets and the like. To list a few:

"you will get fat drinking full fat milk, it goes straight to your gut, you will get bloated and it doesnt even contain protein and no carbs"

"if you train more then 3 days a week you become catabolic! you should also never do recovery/light days, always go heavy!"

"Drinking energy drinks will make you more succeptable to 30 different cancers, and they put rat poison in them!"

"squatting below parralel lowers your GH levels, Destroys your knees and doesnt build the quads as much"

"you should have one of my mega 100kcal shakes, it has 200 grams of carbs!"

    LOL

feel free to share any questions/statements you get when out and about.

There's a guy at my gym who insists that deadlifts are a useless exercise that don't build any muscle.

Several people, mostly women have commented they think weightlifting is bad for you and will lower life expectancy.

Others rave about how a competitors version of Hurricane is increadible and they put on X muscle in no time at all.

Sure ill think of a couple more...

Couch potatoes frequently comment that body building is a waste of time because 'all the muscle will turn to fat' when you get old.

My return comment is live a full life and be fit and able to astound chicks in the sack, who gives a **** when you're 80 something and smelling of pee. When I'm ancient my head can fall off for all I will care. Live life now....

However, truth is I'll keep up exercise and healthy living throughout my later years and still be dynamite between the sheets....

I was once told by a guy that he was having a bowl of coco pops pre training. He then went on to say it was the perfect meal prior to training because of the 30g carbs in it or something. I told him the idea was stupid and he nearly bit my head off.

Where do I start...my mrs used to work in a gym and some of the trainers in there came out with some crackers....

    - creatine is steriods
    - lifting weights with a cold will give you a heart attack
    - tirbulus is also steriods and will make your winky shrink
    - if you are overweight all you need to do is hit cardio like mad and not bother with any sort of weight routine
    - o yeah ma favourite... 200 sit ups a day gives you a 6 pack
Why not be like all the cool kids and use MP referral code MP23230 for 5% off your first order
