As some of the older guys know, I was on here for a while before I stopped posting. Basically I have been in the Marines training, and have had NO time what so ever to get ona computer and I am now on leave.

I have stopped using supplements and eatting 4 cooked meals a day, with fitness 1/2 times a day as well. If anyone wants any help on joining the marines, feel free to ask. Or about my diet and training, just so yuo can have a idea on what I have been doing.

I have gained 4 1/2kg in 8 weeks, and to be honest I cant see any fat in that, only better fitness leaves and a small increase in size.

    Merry Christmas to you all...

Edit: Just scanning around, alot has gone in in 8 weeks... can anyone fill me in on where MP are moving to and new products please?

Nice to see alot of people like tru HTTK and a few others are still about helping!

Are you enjoying it so far Adam?

Sounds like it's doing you the world of good.

Bigger premises but I don't know where exactly but still in the same area I should imagine. They've not given away details on new product lines as yet but I'm sure they will in the New Year.

Welcome back Adam. Good to see hear you're coping with the training. What does a weeks training look like in the marines? I was under the impression that it was all fitness based so how have you managed to put on 4.5 kg on?! Good going nonetheless.

Many people who I have known who have gone into the forces have lost quite a bit of weight in the first few months of training due to intense exercise and limited calories. The marines must feed you a lot better that's all I can say! lol.

BTW, Merry Christmas to you too. Have a good 'en.

I have no idea how I have gained 4 1/2kg. I was 69kg when I joined, now 73 and a bit. I have 4 cooked meals a day and then buy quite abit from the naffi aswell as you are constantly hungry there.

A weeks training would look something like this...

    0700 - 4 mile run.
    0800 - Lectures
    1100 - Weapon drills
    12.45 - Food
    1400 - Lectures
1600 - Body weighted circuit or strength training.
    1700 - Swimming
    1800 - Food
    1900 - Admin

In this the times would change. Sometimes fitness is before lunch, but always before 6 o'clockers. weapon drills can be 2/3 hours long and we could do more practical instead of lectures, like first aid...

This xmas leave is 16 days, so from the 19th Dec to the 4th Jan...

Yeah it is very hard, feel hungry all the time from the fitness as they take everything out of you but I suppose eatting so much helps gain the weight and strength. Its hard but enjoyable if you got the right state of mind...
