I've taken a different direction and now fallen in love with the idea of a Lexus IS200 thanks for all the input thought people, much appreciated!
IMO mercedes are a fair bit higher than that. However, I'd avoid Saab, the turbo's always go pop and as they've recently gone bust things can only become more of a pain for owners needing parts
And don't buy a toyota if you ever want to buy another car... our old one would NOT stop passing MOT's, no matter how hard we tried! They're tanks!![]()

i've had 3 vauxhalls, and they're the most reliable cars ever!
also if you do want a bit of power, a simple remap will get 200bhp/300NM torque (if you had a 150bhp model to start)
well any diesel nowadays is remappable to get great gains!
i was looking at getting one (if i found a placement and needed to commute, will sit at like 50+mpg on the motorway)
