anyone know of or can recommend a good camcorder case?

i'm looking for a case for my panasonic mini dv cam, preferably a neoprene case or something similar that i can use.

it's basically for when i travel around and don't want to lug the huge camcorder bag with a million pockets and compartments. i just want a small snug little case that can hold my camcorder and maybe squeeze in a spare battery and/or tape. you know what it's like when you have to take your cam to film stuff and it's either wrap it up in loads of clothing or padding to protect it or take the whole cam suitcase with it.

something like the neoprene cases for mobile phones or them crumpler laptop sleeves. a good, snug fit, simple, with a zip.

had a gander at google but majority of results are either for a big case or too expensive. most likely choice at the moment would be a neoprene pencil case.

Besides trying your high street camera shops, I'd say your best bet for something like this was old eBay. I took the liberty of looking and this seems like a nice one LINK

I always use the Samsonite Trekking range of camera cases:

Samsonite Trekking Digital Video Camera Case Black: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

I have this exact one for my DV handycam and the overall dimensions are about 5.5" wide x 6" deep by 7" high!
