I've been a busy bee & I've created a *FREE to use download-able browser toolbar for MyProtein® Forum Members to enjoy!

The aim is for it to complement the links & menu options already on show at the top of the forum's webpage.

    Download it here.

This what the toolbar look like:-

    Left-hand side of the toolbar

    Right-hand side of the toolbar
    Quote Quote
    IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

    Disclaimer:
This toolbar has been produced by LionHair a Moderator and Member of the MyProtein® forum community. It was produced using the free online community toolbar service at Conduit.com. Click here to view the Conduit Community Toolbar Privacy Policy.

The toolbar is NOT affiliated with or endorsed by MyProtein® or the trademark and copyright owners of MyProtein.co.uk®, cend limited which is a registered company in the UK.

Users download & install this toolbar at their own risk – please ensure that you backup all data, files & systems settings on your computer before you proceed with the installation. LionHair, MyProtein® and cend limited cannot be held responsible for any damage to files/systems etc. as a result of your installing the toolbar (and or any associated software).

    To uninstall the toolbar:
Toolbar users can easily uninstall their toolbar at any time using Conduit's standard uninstall package (Add/Remove Programs in Windows, Add-on Removal in Firefox, etc.).

    COMMENTS:
    • Some of the links/menu items on the toolbar will open a new window in IE (or a New Tab in Firefox)... e.g. if you were to click on Forum Rules - will open that webpage in a fresh window, as will Search (opens the Advanced Search page)... the idea being you don't loose where you are on your current page when you want to go grab/find something else!
    • It's been tested on different browsers IE (Internet Explorer) and FireFox (in both Windows & Linux) and works just fine.
    *Made using the www.conduit.com website.

Just so that everyone is aware, conduit is the new home of the EffectiveBrand.com toolbar which loads and executes remote JavaScript, which is potentially a rather large security hole. It also harvests your web browsing history and as a private company what they do with it is outside of your remit, especially since none of you actually read the terms and conditions did you?

The company has reviewed it's code since Mozilla kicked them off their servers and are back on again, however they're not a company that fills me with confidence. The fact that they can still remotely update the toolbar means it is still spyware as far as I'm concerned, even if it gets around the strict definition for it.
