its 5'6" and weights 150lbsish, it has incredible upper body strength, you could pick it up yeah but getting it to let go of you would be a problem...plus it has large canine teeth so it might bite you

Chimps have 5 times the strength of a man. A fully grown chimpanzee can easily tear a man's arm off - so mano e mano you have no chance!

In my head, I'm imagining Comanight typing frantically at the PC, whilst on the other side of the room...

haha thats the story i read,

Im thinking you can beat them by maintaining a distance (they can only move fast with their hands down right?), and laying punches on them, then sprawling it forcing its head (and jaws) down wards and start dropping knees on its face...then probably try get its back and choke it...

Its concerning me a lot, i think a strong man could take a chimp but not a gorilla

No way! Chimps have opposable toes so, in essence, they have four hands with which to grapple you to the ground and beat you to a pulp!
