    inspired by httks thread from about a year ago and also slw for bringing it, here's a thread for your goals for 2010.

    goals can be anything, from the small to the big.

    stuff like:
    to look good for summer
    lose x% of fat
    get bigger
    start competing
    continue competing
    just to stay healthy
    ANYTHING!!!


    here's mine:
    to join the 200kg deadlift club. got close, could've got it, but too close to competing.

    maybe hit 250kg dl. well over 3xbw.

    double bw front squat, atg, clean grip.

    100kg incline bench would be cool.

    continue competing, retain the judgement day international open title, reclaim a few british titles, take on the worlds again and win it.

    Goals for 2010:

    Early 2010 - Have my Squat rack made

    The rest of the year:

    100kg Bench for atleast 1 rep
    150kg Squat for atleast 1 rep
    175kg Deadlift for atleast 1 rep

    Bodyweight upto 182lbs +/-
    Keeping bodyfat the same 13% +/-

    non-training goals: find an Ice Hockey rec team. Catch my first 40lb+ Uk Carp

    similar goals guys
    • i WILL get my bench over 100kg again
    • want to get my DL to 200kg (might need a belt) 180kg is getting easy now
    • when ankles better then a 150kg again (touchwood)
    • get my pull-ups back (they have gone crap all of a sudden, might be lack of chin-up bar at uni apartments)
    • shrug 150kg for reps

    Top priority: finish building house so I can set up my power rack which has been sitting in the box for 6 months

    2010 goals:
    1x150kg deadlift (current 1x125kg)
    1x120kg+ squat (current unknown, 6 months ago I could do 5x90kg)
    1x120kg bench press (current unknown, 6 months ago I could do 2x90kg)
    10x20kg pull ups (last time I tried I could do a few reps with 10kg, recently only been using bw)

    Quit my gym, and have been training at home. Haven't had the space to set up my power rack yet so I still don't know my max squat/bench. At the moment squat is limited to 65kg (10-15 reps usually) which is my max clean and push press. I dumbell press 32kg for 8 reps - not sure how that will translate to 1 rep max bench pressing.

    Need to bulk up even though by BF is quite high (I estimate it's 20%). Lost some weight recently because haven't been eating enough. I'm only 74kg which is too easy to throw around in judo. Hopefully I will start competing in judo in 6 months (white belt at the moment!)

    Don't really have any specific goals, just keep myself healthy and fit....pretty good this year no reason i can't do it again.

    I guess i could improve my power to weight ratio a bit.

    Keep myself under the magic 186lbs, strip some more fat add some more muscle, every ounce of which providing as much additional strength as possible.
    Do some sprints, dragging heavy stuff and fighting etc, that'll keep me happy.

    My goal for summer 2010 is getting to look like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale
    Before that I want to be able to run for 15 min @ 15kph
    Reach 1.5xBW in squats & bench press my BW.
