    I can eat up to a lb (454g) in one go, you don't need to eat anywhere near this for health benefits of DIM but i like the stuff, it regulates my salt intake well as i don't add salt to any of my cooking (which is all whole foods, without salt)
    The only thing i worry about is my teeth with the acidity because i love my rollmops/yoghurt as well.

    Regarding the bitter tahini, the mildest brand to try is cypressa or mezap, which can be got from tescos/sainsbury respectively.
    It is more pale because they use lighter seeds which are less bitter, they also have higher oil content which makes the paste less dry in your mouth.

    meridian stuff is harsh, i get sunvita 'whole' tahini which has the husks on and is a very brown paste, very bitter but contains more lignans.

    When i eat tahini i get a wierd burning / scratchy feeling in my mouth. Strangely, i dont get this with whole sesame seeds.
