i have no problem in telling pepole to hit the showers, sometimes you have to be horrible to be nice. if you smell like off milk poured down the back of a radiator, i will tell you exactly that.

2 idiots in the gym today doing loads of stuff that did my head in!

    - Walking around with weight lifting belts on the whole time, even for curls and skullcrushers.
    - Using their whole body for curls, swinging shoulders, bouncing with their legs, using their back, using every muscle but the biceps!
    - Doing skullcrushers with 40kg dumbells in each hand but with a range of motion of about 2 centimetres! At a glance it looked like they were just holding the weights still and making noise!
    - Lat pulldowns leaning back so far that they're pointless.
    - Bentover rows that started with a 45 degree back angle and ended up looking like a deadlift/shrug hybrid.
    - Throwing weights on the floor for no reason, just so people look at them. I watched one guy finish his curls then drop the dumbells from waist height... why??
    - Making too much noise. I don't mind people grunting or breathing hard or even shouting but they sounded like they were having a competition to see who could make the most people turn around and watch them.

They were both pretty big but i have no idea how if they use this form for every workout. They also hardly took their eyes off their reflections between sets.

Have you noticed the moment you approach the rack or grab set of dumbbells or whatever...some guy appears out of thin air behind your back asking you: How many sets have you got? Are you going to be long? Do you mind if we share...

Place could be totally deserted but the second I start something, here he is.

Is this just an amazing coincidence or is it sod's law or is it some kind of conspiracy going on?

    Why?

    WHY?

I mean, Its already hard enough to go through your average day without murdering some f****er.

People who give themselves nicknames. If you ever reach that stage then life has defeated you.

    For example:

    "I'm Michael "Biceps" Mcgee."

    **** off.

A few people at the gym have done this recently. I can not think of a more pathetic and neurile thing to do.
