Hardest thing i've ever tried, the missus bought a dvd so I said I would do it with her for a laugh.... It wasnt a laugh...it hurt! Not being the most flexible person in the world it was hard to get into the positions and even harder holding them. The women on the dvd had an impressive camel toe though.

just done a bit of reading up, a lot of people say the more flexible you are the less stability around the joints you have? is this true? i i thought as long your training and getting stronger, no matter how flexible you are, the stronger muscles will do a better job of stabilising, though i do think if you don't lift and stretch a lot, you can probably make your joints less stable. but how flexible is too flexible if this is true?

My appreciation of yoga has increased massively recently. There are SO many callisthenics, break dance, handbalancing, and gymnastics moves that have their origins in Yogic asanas you wouldn't believe it. The hand support and inversion series of asanas are particularly useful for a lot of other athletic disciplines
