Goals for 2011/2012:
ATG squat: 200kg 10+ reps Deadlift: 200kg 10+ reps Log press: 100kg 10+ reps -> Win Britains' strongest junior.
I'm sure you'll be lucky and it will be ok. Just give it time to dry out. If you are unfortunate then it will be an insurance job!
Why am I laughing? I don't know - maybe because I've done the same thing.
It was the end of my lunch break. The phone rang and it was the boss asking what time I'd be back. I said, "two minutes", stuck the phone in my shirt pocket and went for a wazz. I don't know how it happened, maybe I looked down or something but the next thing I saw was my shiny new iPhone 3 32gb sliding out of my pocket, getting drenched in pee and going "plop" as it hit the water. For a second I froze and with one hand clamping willy wonka trying to stem a mid-flow pee I knelt down and tried to fish the thing out of the water+pee+skid marks+dog ends and other assorted detrius. Something had to give. It did - willy broke free and continued splashing everything in sight, mostly me.
Anyway, having retreived the phone and with my half-soaked overalls now down by my ankles I proceeded to wash it under the nearest tap. I don't know why - I should have just wiped it on the overalls I suppose. I left on the radiator to dry but it has to be said that it never worked again. In the end I bought a new one.
A very expensive mistake. One that I'd like to say that I learnt from it but that would be untrue. My previous Nokia died the same way in a Wetherspoon's pub one night. I am now looking for a flashy phone that weighs the same as a feather but is as big as a brick. On the other hand I might just sew up all my shirt pockets.
