Hi ben, If a nutritionist is what you definitely want to be, you're almost definitely going to need some kind of formal qualification, probably at uni level or equivalent.
I decided i want to become a sport nutritionist or a dietician after my 1st year at uni. I'm now in my final year of Exercise, Nutrition and Health (after the longest 4years of my life) and cant wait for it all to be over. I keep telling myself it'll be worth it in the end. But even with qualifications, you'd still need to start off at the bottom and work your way up. (unless you have contacts) Its quite a long, hard process... but you should look into it if its what you want.
Good Luck with it
