im not one to judge someones intelligence by there physique, but the stereotypical dumbass 'meathead' approached me today in the gym when i was doing some weighted pull ups.
when i finished a set he suggested i went and used the chin up machine which has weights attached to 'add strain' he said. as the weight is obviously used to assist pull ups and dips, i just nodded, smiled and turned away in pity.
just a funny story for yall...well its funny to me!

hahaha! u are too right, im far too nice to do that though, but in hindsight it would have been the far better option.
u kno, i should have checked meathead wasnt lifting in liverpool today, although i dnt think meathead1987 would spend as much time on supersetting lateral raises as this guy did and i think meathead did alevel physics

in my gym the weight can be used to either assist or harden the exercise.

So there is some truth involved I'd say.

Although weighted chin ups are probably better than machines anyhow
