The music played at Gyms is almost unversally, pretty much without exception, ****e. A mixture of crappy Pop music/MTV/uninspriring dance music. The energyless sappy Pop/Indie love/dirge songs are the absolute worst to work out to.

Surely there is only one correct type of music to pump iron to. Heavy Metal You can feed off the aggression and energy to really lift heavy. It even has the perfect descriptive name for the activity

Dont like listening to music whilst lifting, detracts from what your doing I think. On the treadmill however is where the iPod comes in handy...

The treadmills at my gym have tv's on them too tho, so I never miss an episode of eastenders
Can everyone stop thinking so much.please?

I dont generally listen to music while lifting, but lately have discovered the benefits of Alter Bridge. Very good band, seriously their effect is like taking cell-tech, nitro-tech, mass-tech, carb-tech, prote-tech, scrote-tech, in fact every ********** product both truthful and fictional.

Anyway, sorry for that... also quite liking Hans Zimmer stuff, he did music for "The Rock" the film, and The contender programme (with the boxers) if anyone watched it.

    Cheers
    James

Edit: PS. Sorry, didn't know company names like that were blocked, you can all do the math, but if admin want to remove the post its cool.)
