I know this sounds stupid, but its starting to get on my nerves big time. Ive had an ear ache and throat ache for a week now, no headache, no coughing, no snot, nothing. But the pain is 10x worse than any other ear ache Ive ever had! Im drugged up to the max as Ive only got monday as my last exam and need to revise! Taking ibrupofen (sp) every 3 hours like 400mg, which is a lot... but nothing, it still kills! Eating and drinking and talking is worst, takes mighty power to even swallow a sip of water! Anyone got any good remedies and short term pain relief remedies which will at last help me get my head down to revise!owww!

Just an update, went to A+E sunday morning and had severe Glandular Fever, an absess in my left ear, nerve damage in my right ear and an infectious rash on throat from not going to Hospital and treating it early enough!
Had to do my final A level exam (2 hours chemistry) on monday in hospital bed with supervisor before getting tonsilectomy in afternoon. Had operation on my right ear for my nerve damage too tuesday. Was on IV antibiotics, IV painkillers, IV steroids to keep my airways open becuase the glands were so constricted and saline and nutrition packs fed through the IV too. No wonder it bloddy hurt all last week! Just got back from hospital now, better, can eat least swallow liquidy things with some pain... This is where MRP is going to come into its own!! Strangest feeling ever doing a chem exam in a hospital bed! The docs couldnt believe I managed the last week of exams!
Gutting thing is though... already lost almost a stone in muscle mass since last Thursday when i started not being able to eat anything... What a way to finish exams, with not being able to go out for 2 weeks from now, and literally having muscle falling off me in 1 mere week!! Rant over.

It's the best one!
f*** it, Ive gotta be determined now. I went to gym today and did a slow 45 min cardio session in morning and did a light full body workout in evening with a bit of sauna and jacuzzi. Suffered a lot to say the least, but I felt good for getting back to it.
What a shame though that my shape has gone and Ive lost so much weight right at the exam of exams when people are celebrating etc. I was getting into great shape during exams and wanted to come on the other side of the exams with a proud body and when we go to beach, etc, for my mates to say "what happened to you!" becuase I hadnt seen them properly for 7 weeks.
