are where its at. You'll probably have to get it custom made with your height though mate, or order with velcro which I'm not sure is allowed in WSM.
I am going to be competing in the qualifiers for Scotland's Strongest Man in February, and one of the event is 280kg deadlift (for reps).
Anyway, basically, I have 16 weeks to put 27.5kg on my deadlift. My current pb of 252.5kg was fairly easy (for a pb) so I think that there is close to 260kg in there at the moment. I plan to carry on training much as I have been, deadlifting from various heights every other week, with squats being the main focus. Of course, any recommendations for deadlift routines would be greatly appreciated.
Suits are allowed for the deadlift, as are straps, so I figure given the position I am in, I'll take every advantage that I can get.
Which deadlift suit would be worth while getting? I have heard good things about the Inzer Max DL, but at over £100, the price is off putting. Pullum have specials on the Titan Deadlift Suit NXG+ but perhaps it is super cheap for a reason?
Also, with sizing, what do I go for? I am a really unusual shape, being very tall, but I suppose for my height quite skinny, despite having a 40inch waist and 29inch quads.....
Any help is much appreciated
Jonathan

Sorry if this affends but are you fat? having a 40" waist and skinny is kinda unorthodox. Nice leg size though (i think)

No offense taken! I refer to myself as skinny because I am very tall (6ft 8") and not that heavy for my height (129kg). My chest is 51inches, so there is a taper there. Besides, with heavy squats and deads comes a thick waist. A waist as thin as Arnolds was just looks daft!
Thanks for that James - have you any links to suppliers at all? My main purpose for it is for the SSM qualifiers, but I am doing a comp in 4 weeks time with a deadlift, so if I could get something before then, that would be ideal.
Also, would you completely disregard the Titan suit?

Thanks for that.
In my haste, I ordered the Titan suit - they have it on special offer (£35, reduced from £80) in just a few freakish sizes, mine being one of them. I'll see how I like the suited deadlifting, and if it's OK, I'll invest the time and effort in getting a properly fitted Inzer suit.
