    in powerlifting 800lbs for 2 reps at his bodyweight is no big deal, especially as he is using straps. He could be good if he trained for it though i reckon. Apparently he started off as a powerlifter.

    dont get me wrong though, people would still find it very impressive!!!!!

    Ah, the old "What if Ronnie did powerlifting" debate. Comes up on every board at some point.

    He is strong for a bodybuilder, but not even the strongest in that field. There are loads and loads of strongmen, powerlifters and olympic lifters who are stronger. Plus Coleman is in his 40s now, and will only go down hill.

    Average at SHW, probably gives him about a 830-840 max. 165lbs off the world record.

    His squat isnt that good either, his 1/2 reps @ 800 are very unimpressive PL wise.
