I am just fishing for opinions/advice here, I know the topic has been round the block few times but I am going to push it round one more time.
Training intensity/volume for strength training? I saw the strength/power routine that is on the MP site there and really liked the look of it. I feel the upper lower split would definately be more enjoyable and less tedius over time. What sort of intensity have yous found best for gaining strength? I have tried percentage cycles in the past but I just found them boring and in the end I just lost interest. Does anyone train HIT style or full throttle all/most of the time and avoid over training? I do enjoy the 5x5 and similar style systems that are constantly testing me. I suppose the real reason for me asking is that I feel my weights are just not shifting much as what I would like.
Any personal advice on the topic?
