    Hi,

I'm currently doing Stonglifts 5 x 5 (beginner) but I've had to modify it a bit seeing as I can't afford a rack or a gym, I'm currently power cleaning (bit ugly at the moment but it's getting there) the bar from the ground and doing front squats, same for the OH presses, and then deadlifts as well. My thighs and me aren't on speaking terms at the moment but it feels like I'm getting a good workout However if i keep training like this, am I concentrating too much on the front of my legs and neglecting the back of my legs?

cleans along with deadlifts hit the gluts and hamstrings.

cleans are a bit like an explosive deadlift for hte first part of the lift.

Precisely. Anyway top strength coaches usually aim for Hamstring strength to be between 55-70% of Quadricep strength. I think you should be ok if your cleaning the whole set weight your using for Fronties. Not only that but you will end up with a MEAN Power clean
Resilience should be shown in the face of adversity at all times with a grin on the face and with fists clenched.

if you stand the loaded bar upright get under it/perpendicular to it and squat down so the bar has ended up across your back youtube it.

Ah cool thanks very much, I'll keep going then, I do like the front squat as it keeps my back almost vertical which feels more comfortable than a squat

I'm sure i heard on Stronglifts itself that front squat is 50-50 whereas back squat is 40-60.

It's just that most people tend to be more quad dominant than they are glute dominant, but it should even out eventually.

    Could be wrong though.

If you go ATG your hams and glutes will get hit big time with fronts anyway. Atleast they do for me.
Using this code with your first order will make you a ripped machine. Use with the up most of care!
