Right, this is leading on from the other thread I posted (Attn Jonathan and Billy) if ur interested, post up your best lifts and see who has roughly the same as you. Then either agree to put £x in and winner takes all, or just race for fun. Competition is always healthy IMO.

    I'll start:

    Squat 155x5, 160x4, 165x3, 180x1(estimate)
    Bench 110x5, 120x3, 125x2 135x1(estimate)
    Deadlift 200x5 217.5x3 220x2 240x1 (estimate)

    Any interest here?

Hmmm, not good with my lack of equipment (100kg on the bar max at mo)
But basically at mo i can do

    100kg deadlift, 15 reps.............god knows what my 1rm is
100kg bench press, 15 reps .........again no idea what my 1rm is.

So yeah, i'll be buying some more plates (or just a new olympic bar with 140kg already there) and a power rack soon.

i don't know meat i can do 15 @100kg slow or nearly 20 reps fast with poorer form and i struggle getting 2+ on 140kg. every kg feels like a 20 plate after a certain weight btw if you guys are going to 6 plates a side you're fooking animals, mad or a combo of both. there's alot of weight there i'll be first to shake your hands if you do it

i'll give it a go maybe cos i've just started my 2nd cycle of CEE this week. Not that i do them but is anyone interested in adding a 4th lift maybe clean and jerk cos that's meant to be a good representation of all round strength?

Possibly, but I dont think many people on here do them, I cant because my wrists are not flexible enough.

just out of interest guys with the bench obviously the bar has to touch the chest and no bouncing, the squat down to atleast 90 deg, but with the deads there's a few diff styles which put emphasis on diff muscle groups. eg conv vs sumo, but even with conv deads i've done them diff in the past for example i used to have my pelvis higher at the start of the move so there's not as much legs involved and more back but nowadays i start off in the squat position which involves more legs i think the latter is the safest style(exactly like rogue zero technique). or doesn't it matter so ong as you shift the bar?
