Its on the side of my left bicep down to my brachioradialis, it doesnt ache or effect me out of gym at all its just the moment i bench a weight i feel a sharp pain pretty much numbs my elbow and weakens it where i have to rack it fast. This has been troubling me for about a month, i take two weeks off, reset the weight 20kg lower and start my ascent back up to my current pb. When i hit it then the trouble starts.

Also when i had a problem with my arm i had a tightness in my chest its odd its like i had two muscles one in the top part and another in the bottom part just pulling away from each other i could feel the odd sensation from the shoulder down to towards the bottom of my sturnum.

Can anyone offer any help/advice pls

Yep, probably some kind of shoulder impingement, but you need to see someone qualified to assess you properly.

Must agree with Dope from my past injuries, I tried to let the weight down and go back up but after 2 months I had to see a specialist and I was good to go in about 2-3 weeks after that.
