today i reached my first 100kg squats for 3 sets of 5 reps (deep squats) but in doing so i felt some pain in my lower back...this was a completely new sensation as i thought i had good form and my training partner couldnt see anything wrong.

is it possible that my body cant handle that much weight?! id be devastated if it couldnt

See how your back feels tomorrow, perhaps you rounded a little and your partner didn't notice or maybe it was something else.

Either way wait for tomorrow and if you're worried treat it with heat/ice (not the best person on this front, I always get the right temperature type wrong!)

Ice for acute injuries, never heat IMO: usually makes things worse.
Film a set sometime and put it on here, that way people can help you out if there are any problems.
Going off problems I've had, probably abit of "tail tuck" at the bottom of the movement.

Trust me, we all have parts of our bodies that are slightly lagging (no 'member' related jokes please!). I used to get what you mentioned a lot, until I started 'Sheiko', which has you doing a lot of 'good mornings'. They would normally be performed at the end of my squat/deadlift sessions, for 5x5, keeping to a modest weight. I still use them today - though I am no longer following 'Sheiko' - to help avoid the above problem.

Don't be disheartened by a slight weakness, just attend to the problem.

    Hope this helps.

Congrats on the PB by the way!
