Sounds pretty annoying....I often get freaked out by creak's - depends on which doorway its used on.

Has anyone seen/used the bar which you can also use as dipping bars across mid-doorway? I really cant see the handles on them holding that much weight....
"Squatting on a Bosu ball makes it so much more challenging!" So does getting tapped in the balls while squatting, want me to do that too?

nothing can beat chin ups and bodyweight work its rated level 4 on the nms class witch means it brings in the faster results its in the same class as squats and deadlifts etc the reason they bring in the faster results is because your using your bodys natural mechanics and lots of muscles are called into play, do your chins, push ups and throw in some sissy squats and you have hit all the major muscle groups. as a bonus they also stimulate the most testosterone and growth hormone levels.

Yeah i was considering that before i bought the iron gym but read a few stories where the whole thing had collapsed mid dips and the people had hurt themselves some how so opted against it. gonna get the dip stand for 40 quid or the resistance bands n attach it to the iron gym.
also to the op you can always chuck a rucksack with weights in too when your smashing out the pull ups

Bodyweight exercises are great, just make sure you keep progressing towards the advanced version of each as they get easier.

If you can spare about £15 build yourself a sandbag. It's probably the best thing you can train with if you haven't got weights at your disposal, you can do so many different things with it and will get you in really good shape. All you need is a canvas army kit bag, rubble sacks, pea bravel (or sand, I prefer pea gravel), tie wraps and gaffa tape.

For about £10 you can build your own suspension system, they are great to hang off the doorway pull up bars. You can find instructions in this link Homemade TRX Suspension System.
