I've been getting tendonosis in my elbow and forearm every time the weights i'm lifting get a bit heavier. I've been doing eccentric exercises for my wrists and elbow and holding off lifting til the pain goes away but every time i start lifting and the weights increase the pain comes back.

does anyone have any similar experience or advise as to what else i could do?

    Any help much appreciated

I had problems with mine a while ago. I avoided the exercises that set it off and worked around it. And I found ice to be a great help too. But I think the main thing I did that helped it was to start doing rice digs, get yourself a bucket and a 5kg bag of rice and you're good to go.

Here's a video that shows you the kind of things that you should be doing:

Thanks for the advice looks like an interesting way to strengthen the wrist.

I do squats but it hurts most after benching, I usually do Squat, push, pull, push, pull. varying the push and pull lifts, but usually start with bench.

I’ve taken some time off to rest it and do some research on benching form. I plan on dropping the weight again and building back up.

Might use dumbbells to try to strengthen my wrists more.
