first of all some good lifts achieved..it seems that you may be able to try strongliftd intermediate (madcow) or advanced?
Whatever you choose stick to what is advised..but if you have time then nothing wrong with adding a few dips/chins at the end.
Been a while since I last posted but anyway,I just have a few questions about SL5x5
-Would it be better to change the bench press to Incline bench press seeing as its harder and the upper chest is the main focus instead of the whole chest seeing as the upper chest is harder to develop.
-I try to keep my workouts under an hour but as I get stronger my increasing rest time ends up pushing my workout to over an hour by like 15mins.
-Would it be best to add in a movement that hits the rear delts or does it get worked enough during overhead presses
-When should I change it up and start following a new routine like HIT,some other split or when I stop gaining muscle? As I read that after 6 weeks everything starts to slow after that and that you should change it up for maximum muscle and strength gains
And finally would it be okay to add in extras like doing pullups/chins,dips,pushups and farmers walks on rest days just to increase my strength.
Thats all as for the update I've been doing this while bulking for a nearly 3 months now and my squat strength has doubled as I'm squatting 160kg now and hope to hit 200kg by April.
I hope to hit 160kg by April also for deadlifts,80kg-100kg for bench, 50-65kg for shoulder presses and rows.
Thanks for any advice in advance

Thanks for the advice mate as I thought the same with the dips and pull ups hopefully after a few months I'll be able to do about 2-3 sets of 15 reps with my bodyweight and then work from there.
As for trying madcow or advanced I really think that I should just stick with the SL5X5 till I plateau strength wise and cant get passed it even after dropping the weight.
Just wondering about if I should do incline chest instead of flat bench press.
The thing is you will have different levels of weight for each... you could alternate between the two but as advised you ought to stick to the program as is. Maybe when you change your program to something like an hst it may be worth having a range of chest exercises.
