You know those devices which go on selectable stacks to add plates? Anyone know where I can get one from?..they normally hook over the top of the stack and then you add the additinal weight plates (normal free weight ones)

No thats not it...its like you hook it over the top of the weight stack and then it has a central pole which you can then add plates to it.....i think it prob needs to be made by a welder for a few quid.

Just wanted to bump this up and see if anyone else had any ideas?

Basically, I saw such a device few years ago...its a metal pronged thing that slips over the selectorized weight and has a pole coming out which you then add the 10k and 20k plates to.....so you can go heavier.....anyone know what the hell I am talking about?..shall I just shut up?....why is the price of oil so high?...do I still see dead people walking about?..

    Thanks Mate.

I got this response from another board

    http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/7304.html

This wouldnt work as alot of the machines have mesh protecting the stack so you have a limited amount of space to hang things on

as well as others getting a longer pin with the part that goes into the weights thin and linger, and the othher half thicker and longer so it can hold upto another 80-100kg.

But I know I ve seen these here!....I just dont know where!

The thing I've seen hooks over the top of the stack and comes about half way down with a pole stick out at a right angle to attach plates.
