You could be right actually LH! You are the kitchen queen! All Hail Queen LH! Will give it a go, why the devil not...

Serious question though...how chewy are they? I am seriously struggling with the metal work in my mouth at the moment and don't want to make them and not be able to eat them!

Thanks LH! I might add a little bit more liquid and/or apple to start off with then, and make sure I don't over cook them!

Mmmmm....this will make my diet so much more interesting!!!!

Try the recipe first time round and then tweak it he you decide to make it again. As Lh said, they are chewy-ish. The fruit in there shouldn't rose a problem as they will soften during cooking. Simmer it for a little bit longer on a lower heat will soften the oats and fruit up.

Thanks Dope. Think I will go for making it more on the mushy side first time round... I struggle to eat even mince at the moment! I don't mind eating gloopy stuff anyway so am sure it will be fine...as long as it tastes good I don't care!

(Can you hear my tummy?!!! )
