I've never heard of anyone putting nuts in a shake before, do you think they'll blend ok ?
Hi guys, just putting together a new morning shake, and wanted some thoughts, at the moment its;
30g Whey (WPC80 in this case)
5g Glutamine
1 Banana
450ml Semi Skimmed milk
15 Almonds (may sub this for ground almond powder to blend easier)
8 Brazil nuts
???g of oats
Optional flavouring (Ovaltine, Nesquik etc).

I don't think the Brazil nuts will make the shake taste very nice at all, I'd just eat them seperately.

I have never used brazils before, but you could easily mask the taste up. I like the nuts on their own anyway.
As for the almonds, I have used them in shakes before, and it tastes quite nice provided they are suitably grounded (or if you use ground almonds).
Blending wise, im sure it would be fine if you put the nuts in with a little milk first to make a paste.
Also, what quantity of oats should I be using, considering the volumes of other things?

Depends on wether you or bulking or cutting tbh.
If bulking anywhere from 50g-100g.
If cutting they aren't really necessary since you are throwing in a banana.
