Nice to see people experimenting (with cooking food, that is!) in the kitchen. Well done you!
Today I took 1kg lamb mince and an egg and mashed it together until I was reasonable satasfied that the egg was evenly dispersed throughout the meat and everything had taken on more of a 'thick sludge' look. I then pressed this mixture into a circlar baking tray greased with beef dripping to make a high fat moderate protein low carb pizza base, which I partially cooked in the oven.
Topping was...
Sauce:
Just a simple tin of tomatoes, 1 coursely chopped onion, oragano, basil, tomatoe puree simmered together for 10 mins.
Other toppings:
Chopped kabonossi sausage,
bacon,
red peppers,
mushrooms,
mozerella,
cheddar,
A generous helping of garlic puree (feeling lazy)
Altogether it piled up to make one monsterous meat feast pizza which was so calorie and nutrient dense that I've only eaten once today and I've still got about half of it in the fridge for tomorrow.
Note, I think partially cooking the base before adding the toppings is important due to the comparatively long cooking time and it's probably necessary to ensure it holds together.
Try it out!

It was actually a great success, I'm gonna get some pineapple on there next time. I heated it up for breakfast, but it just occured to me it's probably delicious cold out the fridge so I'm going to keep playing with this one. Can easily see the old meat feast working its way into my regular diet!

It held together very well, I was able to get it all onto the plate in one piece and it looked very pizza-y. The base was litterally just 1kg lamb mince and an egg mashed together, but I might try it with 2 eggs next time to see if it gives it a bit more strengh.

Well as far as I'm concerned that's one of the advantages of this dietary approach- you only have to eat once or twice a day. I like my food, but I don't want to be constantly mucking about in the kitchen!

Tried this out last night and it went really well. Didn't take long at all (I made the base quite thin) as you can be preparing sauce/toppings while the base is cooking. Great way of using up the odd bits of bacon, sausage, ham, etc I had in the fridge. Cut into eighths, each slice contained about 30g P, 25g F, negligible carbs. Brilliant. Cheers Duncan.
Meh!
