  1. Default PWO shake - suggestions and comments plz guys...

    Hey everyone, i've jsut recenrlt ystarted making my own PWO shakes, I used to buy ready made forumulas from bigger companys...

    Im not too sure about what to have pre workout, but the supplements i have are...

    -dextrose
    -maltodextrin
    -WPC
    -Creatine mono.
    -WMS

    Can you plz give me advice on what to have pre workout??

    and thsi is my current PWO shake...

    50 grams WPC
    40 grams WMS
    15 grams dextrose
    15 maltodextrin

    Also, im not too sure when the best time to take the creatine and also what to have it with to maximise results... any advice on on of these subjects would be greatly appreciated... THANKS!!!

    o yea, jsut in case u wanted to know, im 5 "6 (dont laugh) and weigh 160 lbs and am currently trying to bulk...

    You should have the WMS 20 minutes before your whey. Im not really sure if your using WMS that dex and maldex are necessary.

    I have my creatine mono (5g) with my whey, after some carbs, within 30-45mins Post if possible. Something like a vit C 500mg tab might be good as well post.

    Pre, if you feel you need a boost, something like guarana might be a good idea, along with any nootropics, ginkgo, ALCAR... You should have some oats or low GI carbs about an hour before your workout to give you some energy, and probably some whey then as well.

    roadz, how long are your training sessions, approximately?

    I find that there isn't much need for a massive protein/carbs shake pre workout unless doing a long session - say 90 mins or more. If you train for around an hour and are bulking then perhaps there's a case for one, but otherwise a medium sized meal of carbs/protein about an hour and a half before is usually fine.

    thnx for ur reply, so how much WMS u think i should be using PWO... and about the dextrose and malto... i've got a KG of each, so u think i might as well use it up or jsut go for the WMS?

    what do u mean, firstly, by a waste of WMS and, secondly, use the search function?

    using whey with WMS is a waste of WMS.

    It's main selling point is super fast gastric emptying. Whey slows this down. Stick to malto/dex if you are using WPC in your shakes.

    The search function on the toolbar at the word search. <BOOM>

    o ok, thnx a lot cleaver. one more question...

    if i wanted to use WMS, would u suggest taking it 20 minutes prior to taking WPC, and if so, how much WMS should I be using?
