    Hey,

I have heard a fair few people talking about putting Oats in thier shake and have a question.

Do you blend your oats, then put them in the shake as like a blended fine oat mix? I know MP do a fine oat tub, but til i get that, thought blending normal rolled oats would do the same thing.. am i right, or just being stupid??

    Regards
    SG

"Normal", ie coarse ground oats will work. They need a bit more time to swish around absorb the water or whatever however. They also have a different texture (obviously enough) to the ultra fine oats that MP sell. If you are thinking of buying MP's stuff you'll find your shakes easier and quicker to mix and won't have that raw porridge taste that the coarse ground oats do.

I used to grind my own oats with a coffee/seed grinder.

At 44p a kilo from tesco it was simply the cheapest way to do it, considering the amount I was getting through.
