What about "Fage" 0% Fat - Greek Youghurt - I really like it with some honey on - it contains zero fat but has nearly 20g of protein - will that be fast absorbing as it has no fat?????

    Why worry about it?

Protein ingested post workout has no effect on PS whether taken 30 mins or 3 hrs after.

OK. But for someone like me who is trying to burn fat whilst building/preserving muscle. Will a PWO feed (I take a Whey shake and also about 150ml of Grape Juice to spike insulin levels) help to keep the body burning and hence increase fat useage overall?

Two schools of thought on this one

    1. Take in your carbs post workout as they will most likely be used to refill glycogen other than stored elsewhere.

    2. Don't ingest carbs post workout as any significant rise in insulin will shut off the fat burning mechanism created by the workout.

Looking at your question I would say number two answers it more clearly in that grape juice will raise your insulin levels and shut off the fat burning effect.

    Hope this helps.
