I have started taking MP Impact Whey Protein every day. However I have received contradicting advice on how much powder I should be putting in my shaker!

Using a MP Shaker, where would you think the protein powder should come up to? I am currently filling to the 100 mark on the side (about an inch).

    Please advise. Thanks.

Also I am taking one shake a day - is this enough or would you advise more? I work out 3 times a week.

    Cheers for any advice.

Forgot to mention - reason I ask is that all my scoops are in ml and not g. So I have no way to measure an exact weight of powder.

    Cheers.

As much milk as you want. More milk = more runny. I would however advise mixing it with water for your Post workout shake.

no matter if it's 30 or 50g of whey 300ml always seems to be just right cause it fills you but doesn't bloat you.
Use this code for 5% off you first order MP68040,

its always different depending on the person, if your diet doesnt have alot of protein in it. shakes can help make up the difference. but the majority of your foods should be from whole food

Post-workout it's useful to provide your body with a readily (ie fast digesting) source of protein - so a whey-based shake in water will get into your bloodstream faster & therefore reach your muscles, to re-build/repair themselves quicker - as you gain during recovery time.
ok thanks for the advice. my PWO shake will now be mixed with water! just another quick question, does anyone know roughly how much protein in a large chicken breast?
