If the taste is really an issue maybe consider capsules or tablets? What type of creatine are you using, monohydrate or the ethyl ester form? if it's CEE then mono might be easier as it has far less taste.
Hi All
Today was my first day of taking supplements and I have nearly just thrown up.
My pre workout mix consists of
30g Banana flavoured protein
3g - Creatine
3g - L Leucine
Water
As its my first day I have yet to properly experiment - The protein smells lovely and im guessing would taste nice on its own - anyone know which of the other ingredients is likely to be the worst tasting??
Im guessing the Leucine as its such a light powder you need to put a large volume in to get the 3g
I did think about mixing it all in with my porridge oats??
Your help/advice would be very much appreciated.

As Coma said , if its CEE then thats what makes it taste bad. Leucine doesn't taste to bad IMO. Maybe add some extra flavouring like nesquick.
I think you'll get used to it. Happened to me when I started. Just pinch your nose and down it!

i'd take the creatine separately.... but i'm just not as hardcore as some people on here, that's more than likely what's giving it the bad taste though because i don't find luecine to be bad at all.
Cheers for the feedback - most appreciated, will defo look at the mono creatine as the CEE stuff is rank.
I bought some nesquik earlier which has helped the taste a little.
Can I take all my stuff with Milk?
Creatine is best taken in water.
The other stuff is fine in milk.
I personally wouldnt take your pre workout supps with milk. Id take the CEE seperately, and just mix it in a small amount of water and neck it and thne have your Whey and Leucine.
Do we know that its CEE?
None of those ingredients should be un-palatable... try tasting the powder itself by putting a pinch on your tongue. That way you can distinguish it (firstly for when you mess up labelling your powders and don't know which is which - Doh!) from the rest.

Its definately the CEE that is causing the bad taste, as post workout I had protein and leucine and it didnt taste half as bad.
Will look at using Creatine Mono as suggested - but which one? Creapure or Creatine Monohydrate?
