    Hi Guys,

I've tried to do some reading around but i can't really seem to find any decent answers to this. I have had persistent injury for over a year now and i can't really seem to shake it. When it seemingly goes it comes back again in spite of stretching before and after exercise. The masseuse tells me that it is because i have a bad back so i am getting that sorted. Basically, I have pulled my left glute and i would like to recover as quickly as possible.

Would site injecting HGH speed the recovery and if so to what extent? I know that there are side effects associated with the use of HGH but do i need to be concerned with those seeing as this will only be a short term application.

    Thanks.

ps. mods, i hope i'm not breaking any rules posting this but you removed the grey area so i don't know where to post it.

Quite! I think there is a danger that any response could be construed as giving 'medical advice', which is against forum rules I'm afraid. I notice you mention discussing this with your masseuse but not with a medical doctor?

As much as I personally think many GPs are about as much use as a one-legged man in an kicking contest, it really should be your first port of call - especially if contemplating the use of HGH injections. These should be prescription only and administered by a medical professional.

If you don't get a satisfactory response, get a second or third opinion but I would caution you about doing this 'off your own bat', so-to-speak! Incidentally, ask about Decorin treatment while you are there - you may have issues with fibrosis!

Local Hgh injections would not cure your problem.

What might help (I speak from experience) is to raise your own levels of Hgh. There are various reasons for this - all covered in past threads.

Basically, if you want to try this route, then:-

    1. Go and buy yourself some fizzy vitamin C tablets from a supermarket or local chemist. Make sure the the tablets do not contain sugar or any variant of it.

    2. Then buy some l-glutamine from MP.

    3. Then, every morning, mix a heaped teaspoon of the glutamine with the fizzing tablet. When the fizzing stops drink the lot down and do not eat for at least half an hour.

    4. Make sure you use at least half a pint of water for the tablet. If necessary use two tablets to improve the taste.

    5. Keep this up for a couple of weeks at least.

The only side effects from this are all beneficial. You will lose some body-fat for instance. You will feel able to exercise slightly harder possibly. Your skin tone will improve somewhat etc. The effects of raising your own Hgh levels are nothing like injecting Hgh at all.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

Wotan, i also have some colostrum, would adding some colostrum to that mixture help?

Edit: for that matter, if i were to go a bit wild on the MP customiser which aminos would you suggest using as a an hgh booster? I'm thinking Vit C, l-glutamine, AAKG, l-lysine, l-glycine and i already have some colostrum.

Get a referal from a GP for a physio session, or to speed up the process pay for an assesment with a decent physio. You need to find out exactly what you have before you can think about sorting it out.
Using this code with your first order will make you a ripped machine. Use with the up most of care!

*may or may not make you a ripped machine...infact it most certainly wont.

None of the above except glutamine. Taking therapeutic doses of amino acids only works when they are taken in isolation. This therefore precludes mixing them together (as I pointed out in previous posts if this were not the case then simply drinking a glass of milk would have the same effect - but obviously it doesn't).

In my experience use just one a/a at atime. And for your purposes glutamine is the best.

Colostrum would also help to a slight degree - but not much compared to the pulse of Hgh you would release from the glutamine ingestion. Colostrum is of course a protein mixture and so should be taken seperately from your a/a drink.

You do not need the fizzy tablet - or any vitamin C for that matter.

    Its just that:-

    a) a/a's seem to work better when taken with a carbonated drink (even sparkling mineral water). I can't prove this but it does seem to be the case (in my experience anyway).
    b) vitamin C helps with various inflammatory conditions.
    c) some people (me included) think that glutamine has a slightly unpleasant, lingering aftertaste. Other people say it tastes almost sweet like a mild sort of sherbet dip. Either way the fizzy flavoured tablet masks the taste.

What you do need is the water. Half-a-pint will make the stomach empty - just. Less than that means it will sit there for some time before anything happens. Drink more if you can.

    Thanks Wotan,

I will give that a try. I will do that in the morning and just take my colostrum before bed.

Just the over 25's i think.

However, Wotan; If i were to substitute L Ornithine Alpha Ketoglutarate into the reciepe you gave above do you think it would have a positive effect (ignore the cost). Also, i read a post (yours i think) saying that we need to cycle a/a's because our bodies adapt to them. What do you think of cycling between L-OAKG and L-Glu for one month each (for the purposes of maintaining a high natural hgh level).
