    A while back I posted on here about creatine and increased toilet visits - when taking creatine I was waking a lot more during the night to visit the toilet and was going to the toilet every 30-60mins during the day... I thought maybe I had a bladder infection, maybe it wasn't the creatine, so decided to try creatine again.

    I started on Monday - no problem, but on Tuesday I did notice a slight increase on toilet visits and then last night I woke FOUR times during an 8 hour sleep! (I feel like crap today!)

    I think it's safe to say that I'm not absorbing creatine like I should be and Im just pissing it all out (does this sound right??) I've just read that I need to drink more water to stop this from happening? but that makes no sense at all! LOL

    But I was only taking 5 grams a day and 2.5 grams on none training days - which isn't a lot!

    I don't think I'll be using creatine again!

    I'm no expert on creatine but from what I understand creatine draws water into the muscle. It takes the water from the blood or even other organs which is not good. Thats why you need to drink plenty of water with it.

    If you have been drinking plenty of water which is recommended with creatine then maybe its that what is causing the increased visits to the toilet rather than the creatine itself?

    I drink enough water and I've never really increased water intake as I wake 1-2 times a night as it, if I drink anymore I'll be waking up even more, which is something I obviously don't want. Even if I cease liquid intake 2-3 hours before bed I still wake a couple of times a night. So although increased water intake is advised, I just don't think I could... I'm not gonna sacrifice my sleep for proper creatine use... seems pointless to me.

    Which creatine are you taking? maybe try mono instead of CEE or CEE instead if your taking mono?

    Are you taking other supps that may be causing a reaction?

    Im thinking of starting on creapure in a few weeks. Quick question, will it make me look plumper as im aware it draws water into the msucles?

    The effects of bloating differs from person to person, if it works for you the strength gains will be more than worth it anyway.

    If you are ectomorph I doubt it will be to bad.

    i go to the toilet loads when im on creatine and that i think is because of the amount of water i drink during the day so im not too worried
