At the moment i take 1 L-Glutamine tablet daily to help me recover from training etc. I also take Hurricane XS post w/o which also contains 5g glutamine per serving.

I have just been looking at different protein powders and i'm thinking of trying True whey pre w/o instead of my unflavoured impact whey (just for a change). However, True whey also contains glutamine (doesn't say how much). So if i am taking true whey pre w/o (and maybe again aafter tea) and hurricane xs post w/o, which both contain glutamine, do i still need the glutamine tablets daily or should there be a sufficient amount in my shakes?

I just don't want to keep buying l-glutamine if i am going to be getting more than enough from my shakes.

    thanks in advance!

I think Whey protein is naturally high in Glutamine and BCAA's , so is an "added benefit" rather than an added ingredient .
Plenty of plus points for supplementing with 5g or more of extra glutamine a day anyway .
