what you do with it you decide, MP is not responsible for any adverse effects. the best before date is there for a reason.
I found some vitamin C caps at the back of my 'supplement cupboard' that I must have bought a while back. They best before is 01/2008, should I chuck em or use em?

Nearly 18 months out of date. It's cheap as chips anyway, I'd throw it.

Hehe, no worries, I'll just bin them. Thanks for the advice![]()
Ha ha ha - I'd use it.
Seriously I would! If its been kept cool and dry then there won't be a problem. Its a pure chemical don't forget - its not like a herbal supplement with umpteen different factions all jostling around together and interacting and so forth.
However, you are a bit dubious about this I can tell (otherwise you wouldn't have started this thread) so how's about this for a compromise.
Every time you have a bath add half a teaspoon to the water (or empty a few capsules into it). The vitamin C will counteract the chlorine in the water but have very little effect otherwise on you (you might just absorb a few molecules through the skin but that's about it I should think).
Better than using your g/f's bubblebath stuff!!!
