    Hi everyone!

For the last few months I have been having 3 shakes per day just to keep my intake up as I don't have much time due to work/family time.

The last 3 months I have been having each shake with full fat milk, impact whey (choc nut), flax and porridge oats. This was ok and tasted great, however I decided to change on this order and went for unflavoured whey, flax, and egg yolk powder as I am trying to bulk. This tastes quite nasty so I have been flavouring it with bannana nesquik.

I was just wondering if this is ok or does this equal a cardinal sin? I know it's pretty high in sugar but I dont eat chocolate through the day or sugary snacks or sugar in tea or coffee so I was thinking this was ok. Will this have any detremental effect on the shakes or is it ok?

    Thanks in advance guys

As long as it fits in with your daily intake I really wouldn't worry, unless you are incredibly anal about health (which you aren't or you wouldn't even consider this ), since you are taking it with a source of fats and carbs (in the way of full fat milk) digestion of the sugars will be slowed right down. No worries.

Thats just what I wanted to hear! So I'll be ok then, thats great. Just out of interest mate what do you think of my current shake, you reckon its ok or do I need something else? You may need to know some more details I guess in order to answer this?

As long as you are getting your required intake of calories and nutrients each day it really doesn't matter; this is FAR more important than anything else. The only supplement I would recommend would be creatine anyhow (and a multivit and fish oil if you are lacking in a healthy, varied diet).

I currently take creatine but I'm dubious about it's quality, and whether it's working or not, I should really go for some good quality mono from myprotein.
