    Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the supplements I take. I do try and get as much as I can through my diet rather then through supplements though.

    Impact Whey Protein, Zinc & Magnesium, Amino Acids, HMB, and Creatine. The amino acid tablets I got from a high street shop, the rest is from MP. Also, I've just started taking the Hurricane XS, 1 shake in the morning, but would I see better results if I changed to the Hurricane Evo?

    Basically looks good to me. Fish oils would be a good addition if you don't regularly eat oily fish.

    Personally I don't see any point to HMB. Haven't tried it myself, so just going on what I've read, maybe it works for you.

    I don't think you would see any benefit to switching to Evo from XS. They are very similar products anyway, Evo just has a few others bits in which may or may not do much for you.

    I'm not keen on seafood but slowly beginning to get into salmon so I'll order some fish oils on my next order.

    With the Evo and XS, as the Evo is only a few quid more but there is alot of stuff in it, I thought it maybe more beneficial. Maybe I'll get some when the XS runs out, but from what you say it's not worth going out of my way to order some.

    I agree I don't think you will see any difference at all switching to hurricane evo. HMB i've never really seen the point of either and dont see the point intaking this and seperate amino acids (I'm guessing these are BCAA?). I agree fish oils, potentially milk protein if you take protein powder before bed. Generally speaking keep it simple, food, whey and fish oils do me alot of the time now, and sometimes waxy maize starch or Vitagro after workout with Whey.

    Hey Guys, new to the forum and gymming! so go easy :S

    Im going for muscle and size! I understand a good diet is required and am currently working on it .

    Currently using MP Hurricane in the Morning and after a workout ? what about non training days ?

    ZMA - 3 Caps before bed.
    BCAA - 3 caps 3 times a day - do i take these on non training days to ?
    Alpha Man Multi Vit - 2 Morning and 2 Night.
    and got some NO2 on Order gonna give it a go!
    Got some Cod Liver tablets from asda too!

    What you guys think :s and if you could offer some advice that would be great!

    I would get some Creatine to use on-non training days if you don't intend to use Hurricane.

    NO2 might make your muscles look a bit fuller and the veins stick out more (for a short time) but they won't grow any faster. BCAAs are of debatable use if your diet is good. I would mainly take them before and during training if you are going to use them.

    what tauren said regards the bcaa's. some use them, others don't it is up to you. i use them for when i do fasted training.

    BCAAs gave me a rash of spots on my back (No I don't take steroids). Stopped taking them and it all went away. Didnt feel any gains out of them either. Same with HMB, I was using it, stopped and havnt slowed my progress in the gym. You get a big enough dose of it by taking Hurricane XS anyways so you don't need to supplement any more.

    I would only take NO2 to free up your circulation if you are planning a particuarly big and intense session or before competition depending what/if you do any sports. Don't take it reguarly for just weights training, seen it on mates, as soon as you stop taking the stuff you deflate like a balloon.
