Hello all,
I'm new to this supplements malarkey and theres so many different products that I need some help.
My goals are to lose fat (weight is ok) and build lean muscle with definition but am at 24% body fat and I don't get anywhere near enough protein in my diet even though its a fairly healthy diet.
So I'm thinking of taking a Protein Shake as my mid morning meal, one after trainning and one before bed? Is this too much? It will be 2 a day and then 3 on the training days.
I am doing the Stronglifts 5x5 regime 3 days a week.
So should I go for the basic Impact Whey, Impact Whey Isolate or Total Protein.
I don't know the difference between Whey and Whey Isolate apart from the isolate contains a slightly higher percentage of protein but is more expensive. However Total Protein contains slow release proteins as well as Whey which I think would be especially good before bed. However it it quite expensive as you need 2 scoops per serving?? or could I just have one scoop??
