best fat burner on the market?
The correct diet.
nothing more.
Hi all,
Never used supplements before but decided i would give it a try.
I currently go to the gym 4 times a week doing mixed weights & cardio & i play football. I'm happy with my size so dont really need to beef up, i have loose fat around my chest & other area's so im after something that will help strip fat whilst giving me lean strong muscle. I'm not to bothered about taste as i can pretty much drink most things.
Any advice would be great.
Cheers

As mentioned, first of all a good diet will do about 90% of the work. After that, I'd add these supps on top:
1. Whey protein. These shakes are really nice and can be used to replace any sweet cravings you may have, for very few calories when compared to junk food. I recommend unflavoured whey, flavoured with the flavdrops. Toffee, rasberry, strawberry, banana and vanilla are best in my opinion.

2. Thermopure if you don't drink coffee. This is better than coffee as it has other ingredients to help fat-loss, though I tend to just drink black coffee before a workout as I find it more enjoyable than a pill.

These are the two main ones, beyond that I'd recommend ZMA for good quality sleep as lack of quality sleep isn't good for anything! Especially when you are as active as you are.
Hope that helps.

Exactly what badly_dubbed is saying! Supplements are simply that, food supplements and nothing more! The reason you are not burning fat is because you are most probably eating more calories than you burn. There is a free app and a web site service called MyFitnessPal, which you can use to help you get an idea of how many calories you consume. In order to burn fat you need to start consuming less than your maintenance level, say 200-300 below maintenance level, and every 4th day increase your calorie intake to your maintenance level or slightly above in order to keep your metabolism. Then repeat. This is called carb cycling. I would recommend some good literature out there from a chap called Tom Venuto.
The so-called "Fat burners" will do nothing if you consume more calories that you burn! You can even gain fat from healthy food if you are in a caloric surplus.
Hope this helps.
