    u couldhave whey straight away then 30mins later have some eggs to taper the release

    No, there is no EPA or DHA in the omega 3,6,9 - its only in the fish oil. Your body can metabolise other forms of omega 3 fatty acids into EPA and DHA, but the conversion is poor - i.e. you get very litte EPA or DHA yield from other forms of omega 3 fatty acids.
