Hey, on a bulking session at the mo.

I use the MyProtein yummy ultra fine oats for my shakes instead of dextrose. i was wondering if having this for my mid morning shake, pre and post workout shakes is too much.

this is the only time i use the oats, just for my shakes mixed with a 30g serving of whey isolate!

    thanks in advance

All depends on the rest of your diet I suppose, on the face of it doesn't look excessive, I would go for Dextrose pwo as Fin said...

Rest of my diet is good i think.

Morning :4 weetabix with skimmed milk, bananna and yogurt, l-glut, and some flaxseed oil capsules

    Mid morning:Shake with oats

Lunch:Usually something like chicken in pita or ham and mustard in pita or brown bread. apple or handful of almonds/raisains, and a flapjack or something of that nature. (usally trying to get a nice big meal in there)

Pre Work Out:Shake with oats, CEE

    Training at 4 o clock

    PWO:Shake again with oats, CEE

Early Evening: Scrambled eggs or beans on toast. (something quite filling but nothing extreme)

Dinner: Massive Dinner with chicken, salad, rice, vegetables, mince, tuna, salmon etc. Varies from night to night but u get the jist of what i eat for my dinner.

Desert: usually have things like nuts, raisens again, yogurt, flapjacks, ben and jerrys low fat yogurt ice cream (its awesome!!!)

Oh btw im around 6ft3 and 14 stone with around 10% bodyfat.

    1. Swap weetabix for oats. Much better for u

    2. Make sure u get plenty of protein in at lunch

    3. Have beans on toast and egg in early evening

    4. Ben and jerry's low fat is full of sugar, not good at all! What flapjacks do u have?

    5. Have some cottage cheese or milk protein pre bed.

I have Ben and Jerry's frozen yoghurt on occasion for dessert too... But then, I workout in the evening, so the sugar is used up! Although it is probably pretty much used up before I start the workout 90-110 mins later.

It is tasty, but as Meat said it is full of sugar. That is why it tastes so damn nice without the fat.
