I'm pretty sure the research surrouding it showed increased Protein synthesis (PS) with just 5g added to say 40g of whey and some carbs. Depends on how you are taking it i guess.

how much leucine are you folks supplementing with? on the site it recommends 6g total, but people have also suggested 20g! obviously the first dose is cheaperbut is it as effective? two tsp totals at around 8-9g which is what iv used so far.

the best research showed 15g postworkout. but any figure around that should do.
I use 25g during workouts. Start off with 15 and see how u go.

hey, used this thread as i didnt wanna start a new one.
im also buying some leucine but im not a fan of the powder and everything so shall i just order the bcaa tabs instead. are they the same or different to normal leucine powder.
i was also wonder about ordering some taurine for my pre work out shake, will i notice an effect in my pumps or not. i would be taking it with cee!
u can get the bcaa tabs which is (2:1:1) leucine, isoleucine,valine but to get the same amount of leucine required u will have to take more tablets, so it costs more. get leucine and cap it urself.
taurine will help but its not gonna be massive, no natural supplement is gonna have a huge effect on your physiology
