  1. Default Cissus + GT mega mega dose log

    I am planning a 8 week stretch of

    3g cissus
    0.75g Green tea

    4x a day. 1st dose will be before breakfast, 2nd pre workout, 3rd post workout, 4th pre bed(probably without the green tea though, see how it goes). On rest days I will have

    4g cissus
    1g GT

    3x a day. Before breakfast, middayish, pre bed(I will have the GT 2hrs earlier).

    The 1st 2-3weeks(depending on when I get it) will be a cut, which is going very well at the moment. I started September 3rd @235lbs(16st 11) and I was 221lbs(15st 11) monday(25th) morning. I aim to get down to ~215-216 in the next 3 weeks. After that I will be on a lean bulk for the next 5 weeks(and probably the rest of the winter) to get back up to a leaner 242lbs(17st 4).

    I am very excited about this log as I have ran cissus at a high dose before(~7.5g a day) but never this high, I have also never ran it with this much green tea, it should be a very interesting combo for fatloss and lean muscle gain. I'm going to start as soon as I get the stuff(ordered last night) and I will keep you updated on workouts and mirror changes. As I PL I am most interested in the strength benefits and joint maintenance which I will be keping a very close eye on.

    I have a few questions about this, if anyone would like to answer and educate me.

    With cissus, I understood it was good for tendon and ligament healing, so how does it help in cutting and bulking?

    And, why would you take cissus with GTE? Are they synergistic or am I reading too much into it and is the GTE just for its antioxidant properties?

    how are you going to take it? just mix with water and down it ? the stuff tastes vile. I can down the GSE and green tea at 200mg each but 3grams of cissus 3-4times a day, I'd be gagging like mad.

    1. Cissus is very anabolic at high doses (5g+ a day). You get strength gains, vascularity and glycogen storage. The GTE is for energy, fatloss and anti-o properties aswell as its anti-fat gain on by bulk

    Drop it into my throat and wash it down, cissus isnt that bad, I have been doing the same technique for years. I can swallow 15 fish oil tabs at once with a little water.

    Has anyone actually found any proper research to show that cissus is effective for connective tissue healing? I did a search in PubMed, and only found an entry in some indian medical journal to suggest it is good for BONE healing, and that was it. Anecdotal evidence is fine, but i like a little more conclusive evidence.

    Where did you have tendonitis? I have epicondylitis in my elbow. Might have to give it a shot.
