Due to a cows milk intolerance I was wondering what non-whey/dairy protein supplements people recommend?

I was considering one from the following:
    brown rice - 22g protein
egg white protein - 24.3g protein
    pea protein - 24.6g protein

    Cheers.

Egg white is your best bet, the powder dosn't exactly taste nice or anything but it's the best option you've got, providing an EXCELLENT amino acid profile, superior to all the other protein powders.

Being totally intolerant to milk, I have no problems with WPI, so maybe you could give it a try?

The problem is the actual protein, casein, from the cow's milk - which according to the test I have trouble breaking down.

I purchased a tub of WPI only 2 weeks ago.

What about the hemp protein? I've not used it myself, but it does seem a very interesting protein alternative.

It is a bit more expensive but it is a very complete source of protein, without any of the concerns regarding soy (apparently too much soy can actually block protein uptake).
