With protein and the carbs as the most imporant ingredients in a shake what would you say is third most important?

Would you choose Creatine or Dextrose/Maltodextrin?

Depends entirely on your dietary approach. You could add some fats such as MCT or essential oils. I personally avoid mixing fats and carbs together as much as possible, except PWO, to avoid the insulin spike.

Creatine is not a carbohydrate. Again, its use depends entirely on your goals and approach. If you are going to use creatine, it is best used with a quick acting carb such as dextrose/Maltodextrin to shuttle it more effectively into muscles.

you cant even compare creatine with dextrose or malt. dex&malt are carbs and creatine is not. As HTK said you should use carbs&creatine along side each other ideally.

I think you have alot more researching to do so i suggest you start by purchasing one of the following: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sports-Nutri...4869628&sr=8-1

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-Eating...4869646&sr=1-1

    Enjoy

Ok ive been away for a week. I know I didnt mean it like that I was just after which is priority. Im thinking of purchasing both but wonder why creatine is absent from the bulking diet, and when it is best to fit in with your diet. Is loading best for example

Get CEE, so much better than mono. So no loading phase is needed. And in terms of bulking every little helps as this will increase your abilitys in the gym will reflect on your muscle growth.

It all depends on your individual needs, but I believe that first come antioxidants and vitamins, then whey, then everything else, including carbs, aminoacids, creatine and so on.

my reply still stands though! ;-)

I have only ever tried CEE after I was fully saturated with mono anyway so I can't compare in that sense.

    So no loading phases required
