    found a site for tabata timers for those who workout on their own or have no access to a clock or just can't be bothered to keep watching the clock:

    i download the mobile version and bluetoothed it to my mobile. works well, onyl thing is that the sound could do with being louder.

    i find it handy as i can just keep working out ill i hear the beep.

    Hi there, Have just looked at the website link & must admit that I had never heard of Tabata. Seems like an interesting new workout for me. What do other members think about it? Does it work for you? Many thanks.

    tabata is awesome.

    it might seem dubious at first when reading on it, but when you actually do it. it is 4minutes of hell!

    for the 20seconds, you go all out.

    i do it when i'm on placement or jus want the shock of it.

    lh...for timing at home i just stand in front of a big wall clock with a second hand on.
    haven't tried it in the gym yet, but will do now i've been made aware of these timers
