    Do people feel it would be good to start a list of online suppliers of weights and snazzy equipment of the sorts.

    i figured it could be good as a sticky, perhaps in the beginers bit ?

    i occasionally stummble upon some sites that pop up on random serches on google. like this one i just found :

    IXL Barbell - Weightlifting Equipment .. I'm not sure how reliable they are but their plates are cheeap as chips. (90p / KG)

    and a few others;

    Fitness Equipment, Treadmills, Elliptical Trainers, etc. - Premier Sports and Fitness (have not brought from)

    David Horne's World of Grip (verry nice little site, some verry good equipment on there. have brought from)

    Pullum Sports for weight lifting and strongman equipment (verry nice little site, some verry decent professional equipment on there. have brought from)

    please add to the list if the erge takes ya! ta.

    nice one lionhair, i've been looking at mats lately too, as i seem to be slowly distroying my conseretory floor :S !

    some ive found :

    Endurance stable mats - Ebay linky

    Endurance Mats

    delivery will be a bit pricey tho . but defenetly a sound investment.

    (Edit!) - Good Ebay find ! £45 free delivery - 6f x 4f x 22mm (Edit)

    can't remember where i put the other ones. should sort out some sorrt of filing system :P. meh , think ebay is a good bet though, second hand ones pop up all the time, just gota be patient a lil. speaking of, i totaly wasnt patient and brought me a Bodymax CF480 multi press rack :. credit crunch or no credit crunch, i shall impulse buy ! muha

    i have thought about having a go at making two small 'bounce' mats for olympic lifts and deads, maybe from some tyres and stuff i could get from scrap yard. but thats a summer project me thinks.
